Hello my lovely people,
It’s Wednesday, happy hump day!
I know it has been quite some time since I’ve posted anything but I’ve been working on a few college assignments and it just took up a lot of my time.
Anyway, here I am!!
So, you know when people ask you, why is your face so red? Are you okay?
Yes, I get that all the time. even though I am quite used to it by now, it doesn’t seem that others are. But it can be so discouraging, right?
I do still struggle with red skin especially on my face, it was really bad a while back. And this became really extreme whenever I showered. I prefer to wash my hair every day because I love that clean feeling and it keeps dandruff at bay as well. I also used to use head and shoulders every day and that definitely irritated my face, I mean it was a bad reaction. But it only occurred it much later. A tomato would be jealous of my red hue if you know what I mean.
And after changing my shampoo, it was so much better. the reaction took a few days to die down, but it didn’t get worse.
I changed over to the Dove brand of shampoos (any one of them) and so far so good. And just last week I have been using Johnson’s Baby Shampoo and I love it. Both of them are really gentle to use every day and I don’t have to worry about hurting my skin. There, problem solved.
It might not make it go away completely, but it will definitely make it better.
If your face is getting really red even though you use products for sensitive skin and being gentle, try switching your shampoo to a gentle formula or even to baby shampoo.
It might just work!
