Are these scars too hard to bear?
Or do you see just that?
She never asked for them.
It was handed to her by force,
She looks in the mirror and sees a stranger,
Hope all of you are keeping well in this really strange season we’ve been having here in India. It is the monsoon and it’s damp and cold. But I love it because of some respite from the harsh summer we just had.
However, it does mean that many of us are very prone to colds and sore throats. So I really want share with you all, my recipe for all of that. It really helped me out a lot, especially for that prickly feeling in the throat. I think it works well for seasonal allergies as well as the conventional cold and cough.
Hello my Babblejuicers,
It’s been a while since I have posted anything related to allergies and anything of the sort.
However, I wanted to share my experience with acne which according to me, has been the bane of my existence.
I have been laying on it thick with poetry these few days. But really wanted to share them with you. Hope you don’t mind.
A couple of months ago at Church we had a youth Sunday. A Sunday where the youth only would be involved during the church service, for example, the singing, sermon etc.
A few weeks before the youth Sunday I was asked to write a poem about what it’s like to be a Christian youth in today’s world. I said yes.
Sarah and I have been meaning to grill together for ages. Inevitably, we gather all of the ingredients and our courage to cook with charcoal, and then it pours rain.
But this week we were determined, rain or shine, to grill some veggies and some flatbreads! Naturally, on the big morning, the rain clouds rolled in. But for once, we decided not to be deterred.
And I am so glad we stuck to our guns! This flatbread “pizza” was simple and tasty. Bright, fresh summer veggies were so easy to throw on the grill, and we even made a quickie no-rise flatbread dough and threw that on the grill as well!
With a little bit of chopping and stirring, and a few quick minutes on the grill, we turned out an absolutely delicious lunch!
